new york gift show day one: handmade
Though I have miles and miles of aisles and aisles to walk up and down for the next five days, at least I can say I’m done with one part of the show, the U.S. handmade section. It’s fun fun fun to reconnect with artist friends I see twice a year at the show……and discover new treasures to share with Heavenly Metal shoppers!
Here’s a sneak peek at what’s coming:
It’s Rebecca Puig of Sugarboo! I ordered some very sweet new items, which we’ll be seeing sometime in October.
Jill Pearson, creator and designer of Wasabi, the jewelry line I’ve been carrying for 7 years, always has a new twist on her gorgeous designs. She’ll be making these lovely gemstone on silk cord necklaces, with matching earrings, for holiday shopping at Heavenly Metal.
This is a new artist line for my shoppers to get excited about. dconstruct creates these wonderful resin bracelets, made from all recycled materials.
I’m really excited about these milagro bracelets and necklaces from River Song, a jewelry line from Seattle. River travels all over the world to find the ancient milagros and beads she uses in her jewelry.
Greentree’s beeswax candles are a big hit at Heavenly Metal — her owl candles sell like crazy. These pinecone candles are going to make very sweet holiday gifts.
Now I must get over to the Javits Convention Center for Day Two!
