day five: fancy footwear show in nyc
oh girls, oh girls. not only did I find fabulous wonderful new purses, jewelry, artwork, ceramics, books, greeting cards, scarves, metal hooks, watches, socks (for women and men), wallets, candles, and cds — I also attended the fancy footwear wholesale shoe show while here in nyc.
oh girls. it was a dream come true! shoes shoes shoes shoes boots shoes boots and boots and shoes g-feckin’-galore!
re-mix shoes. gorgeous reproductions of classic shoe styles from the 1920’s to the 1950’s, made with the softest leathers, dyed in the yummiest colors. on their way to heavenly metal, finally. be prepared to fall in love with the grey suede heel: comfy, mais oui/gorgeous, oh yeah!
bernie mev shoes, too! two cool and comfy styles for spring/summer. a fun take on the gym shoe, above, in three great colors — and, below, a fun take on the espadrille. comfort and cool stylin’ at its best!
and here’s some goodies to dream about . . .after the leaves start coming down next fall.
gorgeous leather boots for fall from canadian shoemaker bos & co.
and gorgeous warm leather winter boots — from bos & co.
these shoes and boots are, like, WOW! beautifully handcrafted in germany by tiggers, with the best crazy esthetics. let me know if you would wear them, ok?
. . . . . . . . . . .
well folks, that’s all I have to share with you on this my last day in the big cold city. here’s the wintry view of my hotel’s normally sunny warm cozy courtyard. I look forward to my return when I can sit outside while I write to share with you my finds at the next new york gift show — in august.
thanks for checking in. now stay tuned for arrival announcements! save your pennies — you’re gonna want to spend them very soon at heavenly metal!
